Savourydiary | " Lets eat at Tang Tea House."

Hi All!

It has been such a long time. 

As currently I'm working in the east, my most frequent visit will be Tang Tea house at Changi Village. 

Of course, the number 1 go to dish or meal will be Steamed Chicken Rice with eggs. 

Do ask for extra black sauce that is poured on the chicken. 

it's so yummy! its sweet and salty and taste nice eaten with their amazing chicken rice chilli.

the chicken rice is fragrant, nicely cooked and seasoned. glazed with oil. so the rice is shiny. 

you just know its a nice plate of chicken rice. 

just a perfect plate of chicken rice to me! 

i love chicken innard but their serving is too much for me to eat all on my own. 

my favourite dessert have got to be this Mango Sago!

it taste like mango smoothie, topped with fresh mango which is a sweet! and sago. 

simple yet sooooooo amazing!

headed over to Jalan Kayu outlet and was sooooooooooooo DISAPPOINTED for their Mango Sago because it is not the same!

mind you, i added ice cream and it cost almost SGD10.00.

$10.00 worth of disappointment.

Tang Tea at Changi Village was having or are they still having this promo... hmmmm... 

Asam Fish Head or Curry Fish Head at only SGD15.80 ?

oh wait, or is it SGD16.80 ?

well, it doesn't matter. 

its less than 20 bucks ok ?

and i chose the asam fish!

and NOPE! not one bit of disappointment!

can't really say it taste like our Asam Pedas because of course this is not Asam Pedas.
it taste a little bit like the spicier, sweeter.... than Sweet and sour ?

big serving for 2 or 3. worth it right ?

i was quite shocked when they served the fish head because it was that big. 

only to realise, its only half the fish head ok guys. 

so dont worry, surely you guys can finish it too!

the asam fish is served with mixed veges of what i could remember is brinjal , pineapple... i think there is some lady fingers.. but... oh well... 

what should i eat today ?
